please submit by either the fifth of the month or the first Monday of each month to FASSTedit@gmail.com
We welcome artist's tips, book reviews and upcoming art events for consideration.
Please follow these guidelines to ensure that your submissions are published.
To send articles and announcements:
It would be easiest for me if you sent them in plain text. That saves me the time of removing any existing formatting, an re-formatting them for the Newsletter.
To send images of your artwork:
If you can convert them to greyscale they will be smaller. I will not be printing in color. I need at least 150dpi and 6" to 8" print size on long side. I like the .png format, but if you only have .jpeg (.jpg) that's O.K., as long at the dpi is high enough. Some programs will automatically prepare your image for the web, but that changes the dpi to about 72. Not good enough for printing on paper.
